Slash Bash in Sweden 2006

All right, so there are so many people talking about meeting up in the US, talking about slash. There are conventions everywhere and most of them are in the States.

I would like to do something similar for European fans. A small gathering for slash-fen in my home is the goal. Wanna join? It won't cost you anything, besides the trip to Sweden, and 500 SEK (ca 50 Euros or $60 US] in the food & drink-fund. :-)

• South of Sweden is the place.

• Join the Easter Bash Mailing List for discussions about the meeting. (You're not committing to anything just by joining the list!)

• No one under 18 years of age can join this little endeavor, and since I have several cats, allergic people can't join us. I'm sorry about that, people.

I've got loads of zines to read (Mostly Kirk/Spock but a couple of Sentinel and some Deep Space Nine as well).

Some pro Star Trek novels are also part of my collection.

My DVD collections are filled with Star Trek, TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY and Enterprise, Smallville, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, X-files, lots of movies, Some episodes of Sentinel and Buffy, Angel etc. So if we wanna watch slashy shows, that's not a problem. My movie collection is also rather extensive, including Star Trek movies, Harry Potter movies, Lots of movies with Alan Rickman, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean etc, etc.

If you've got something interesting to share - of course, that'd be great, too. I have a DVD player, plus a VCR that takes both PAL and NTSC :)

I've got spare beds for 10 people besides myself and my husband, as long as they are not allergic to cats or mind sleeping in the same room as other people. I've got four beds, and four mattresses that'd be spread out through the house, plus a really comfortable leather couch that's perfectly fit for sleeping ...

If (which I doubt) but IF we would turn out to be more than these ten people we might have to set up something more official and then we might have to rent a place to be, and we'd suddenly end up having to pay more for it, but I don't believe we'll end up being all that many people. I'd be delighted if we ended up being as many as ten plus myself and hubby (who would probably end up fleeing the premises anyway ...)

Creating a zine for the "Easter Bash"

1. Send stories: Any slash fandoms, Any ratings. Any pairing. to kira at kardasi dot com with the header "Easter Slash Bash Zine"

2. Stories will be accepted or denied on a story-to-story basis. There are certain things I will not allow such as scat, golden showers and some other out there things. Other than that, I may accept just about anything.

3. Stories should be beta-read, spellchecked and sent in TEXT format. If you want to provide art, that'd be great too!

4. Don't post the stories elsewhere until May 1, 2006.

5. If you provide a story longer than 5 000 words you will get a free copy of the zine, unless you join the bash in Sweden in which case you'll most likely get one anyway, (With reservations to how many people we'll be!)
