A MATTER OF SEDUCTION – a novelette by Sharon S.J.
Kirk is ordered to do whatever it takes when a ruler’s heir is interested in him, unaware that it is the son, not the daughter who is interested.

The captain gazed at him intently. “I need your opinion, Spock. Do you believe I’m the way Komack made me out to be? I mean... ready to jump into someone’s bed without a second thought?”
The Vulcan pondered the question before pronouncing, “Obviously you are not that way, since you have given the matter thought.”
“A lot of thought. I’ve been with so many women but I’ve never felt... fulfilled. I have this ship, the life I’ve always wanted, but...” Kirk paused before adding softly, ‘I’m lonely.”
Spock felt his throat tighten at the confession. More than anything, he wanted to reach out and hold the human, comfort him. Instead he said simply, “I understand, Jim.”

Kirk goes along with the pretense when he’s told of a dying former instructor’s delusion of being Kirk’s lover.

Pushing back in his chair, a little smile on his face, (Kirk) announced, “I’ve just had an idea. Why don’t we transport Hughes to the Shore Leave planet? That way he can have as many Kirks as he wants, and they’ll all behave just the way he wants.”
Faintly alarmed, possibly because this was a private fantasy of his own, Spock objected calmly, “I do not believe Starfleet will sanction the transport of someone who is under a critical prognosis to a planet devoid of medical facilities.”
“They did pretty good patching up bones. But I suppose you’re right. I don’t want to kidnap him. I’m not ready to face another court-martial hearing as yet. I’d like to at least make Admiral first,” decided Kirk with a crazy grin lighting his face.
Definitely an unusual individual. No wonder I am attracted to him...

Now the property of Lord Spock, Kirk is content until a runaway slave puts rebellious thoughts in his mind

“James,” S’pock stated with finality. “You babble a slave’s nonsense. I cannot ever let you go. This,” he grasped James’ collar, “protects you from those such as S’tonn; if I took this off and let you out of the house, S’tonn would be waiting for you.”
“But what if we were to join the bands who fight against slavery, who fight for equality?” James insisted.
“And leave my responsibilities here at Shikhar? James,” S’pock asked harshly. “Who has been putting these treacherous ideas in your head?”
TIMELINES – a novella by A.T.B.
Spock is stranded in Prereform Vulcan by the Guardian, so Kirk joins his bondmate in an attempt to return him to their time by finding out what was changed and correcting it.
*****
“I do not know exactly what is wrong. I only know that the Guardian will not acknowledge me, much less allow me to return to my time. I also know that you must leave here now.” . . . .
“I’m not leaving without you. If you stay, I stay.” Kirk well knew his adamant refusal would force Spock to reevaluate the situation. . . . .
“Please, Jim, be sensible. It is very dangerous here for you. Please contact the Guardian now. I must know that you can escape if...” Spock pulled the gently stroking hands away, clasping them between his own. “Will you not do this for me?”
