most of his adult life, while struggling to come to terms with the fact
that he is gay.

sells swords, knives and daggers. He is also one of the instructors at a
dojo at the Resort. He works there a few hours every every week night. He's single and quite fed up with it. It's not like people aren't
drawn to him all the time, but he's rather selective and specific about
what he wants.

Storm Garner is 45 years old. He's one
of the owners of the Resort. He founded it together with his life-partner,
Jonathan Bing, who sadly died of AIDS recently. Storm is not HIV positive.
Storm and his life-partner came up with the idea for the Resort when they found out that Jonathan was HIV positive. Jonathan barely had the chance to see the resort in its full glory before he died. a bookstore on the Resort with Pierce Allen. They are not a couple. Victor

Pierce Allen is 38 years old and owns
a bookshop with Victor Haze. They've been friends for a long time and hold
a deep interest in books and reading. Pierce and Victor very recently
bought the bookstore and came to Hephaiston's Resort. Pierce is simultaneously writing a book about vampires. He's very much into dark themes like vampires, horror stories and movies. Despite this fact he truly is a very kind person. Just don't get on his bad side cause he can hold a grudge... He's got quite a bit of a temper. He's trying to control that through Tai Chi and the teaching of martial arts, which is another of his interests. He's also not into the dating scene at all, and is not particularly interested in meeting someone, until one day Scott MacDowd enters the bookshop, looking for an instruction manual on tae kwan do... Danny Hawkes is 32 years old and works as the head of security at
the Resort. He's got awesome blue eyes. Graduated high school early,
attended UCLA and then went straight into the police force. He quit the police
after six years after a traumatic experience. He worked with security and
finally ended up at the resort. Danny is gay and has known since he was friends with Sid as a young teen. Born in New York City, but moved to Los Angeles when he got accepted to UCLA at age 17. |

Sid DeNunzio is 35 years old, and works as a new mechanic at one of
the car rentals at the resort. He never went to college, but he's a
natural with cars and engines, a talent that runs in the family and Sid's
a real grease-monkey. He's bisexual, rather than gay, and he's been messed over many times, both personally and business-wise. Sid's kinda gruff and a little scary but trusts people way too easily and his family is tightly knit and loving. He's gotten more wary of late though because of getting shafted so often. every six months. Born in London, England, now lives in New York City and
spends half the year touring with his band, the White Outs. Thanks to a
brief marriage to an American woman in 1976, he has American citizenship.
He and his ex are still friends; she has since remarried. He has a weakness for handsome, muscular young men and always has one in tow as a bodyguard or personal trainer. He's a good friend of Lucien and Quentin, but is closer to Lucien because they are both artists. Thinks Quentin is common, but has a good heart. He acts campy and effeminate at times, but underneath it all he has the courage of a lion and is a steadfast, faithful friend, worthy of the knighthood Queen Elizabeth is about to bestow upon him.
