Artist statement: When thinking about this challenge I some how thought of the stone mummies of Pompeii. The idea was that they were living at Pompeii at the time and were discovered together in an eternal embrace. Than I decided to put them in a museum display but have the present time Severus and Harry together in the background. But then I could find any good pictures of Pompeii so that I could at least make my drawing reasonably accurate so I made them into a sculpture and in an art gallery. In the end this didn't turn out the way I want it to cause I missed up when going over it in charcoal (guess that's my own fault for not practicing) but I really like the idea of it so you get this crappy thing. As a compensating you get an extra one that's isn't as bad, since I got angry at my pic and was determined to do a better job at using the charcoal so did a close up of Severus and Harry in their position. Hope that makes up for it and you enjoyed my work. Feed back is always appreciated.
