Hmm! Perhaps that would fall into my bailiwick, having, well, a certain... history, of exotic ingestion and applications... <grin> So. Something like:

Under the College of TOS, a new course offering this season. Cross-disciplinary; 50% credit to TOS dept, 50% applicable to other dept., as agreed between student and instructor. Advanced course; ability to study with a minimum of guidance is necessary.

XenoPharmacology 101(a): Three credit hours/semester. Class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings for 90 minutes each time, in the Timothy Leary Memorial hall on the TOS quad. A detailed and intensive examination of the pharmacokinetics of various ingested substances, and combinations thereof, upon both human and alien metabolisms, with a view toward maximizing pleasant and beneficial effects, and minimizing undesirable side effects.

Prerequisites: Medical clearance by Campus Chief Medical Officer; complete Tox/Allergy screening beforehand. Completion of XenoPsych 101(a) thru (d), or a TSU instructor's affidavit that candidate has met course qualifications and can be excused. Previous experience in space or StarFleet may be sufficient; fitness to be determined by Professor Greywolf and his staff on a case by case basis. At the successful completion of this course, the student will be issued a Galactic Bartender's Licence, from Dr. FeelGood's FinestKind Traveling Pharmacy and Fish Clinic; there is a 50 credit fee, payable in advance, which will be refunded in the event of failure to complete the course.

Also see lab: XenoPharmacology 102(a): Three hours once a week, in which assorted clinical trials will take place. Purpose is to acquaint the student with any peculiarities of personal metabolism, and teach the art of accomodating same, while maximizing enjoyment of ingested substances. At end of course students are expected to submit a paper, or vid, or data-chip, containing experiences and thoughts during semester, to be titled Journal, XenoPharm 102.

Optional weekend field excursions into assorted domains are also available, providing candidate is willing to sign all pertinent waivers and exclusions beforehand.
