Feed back: My first online fic, so yes, please.

Notes: Thanks to my BETA, Tanya, for reading this in one day! You’re the best. And to Red_Headed Firecracker for letting me write the sequel. She did say she always wanted to write one, but it never came. I hope she likes this. Also, asterisks denote thoughts and emphasis.

Now that Clark knew Lex wanted him as much as he wanted Lex, it was going to be damn hard not to act nervous around him next time he saw him. Which was going to be soon.

But before that happened, Clark decided he needed to act on his sudden desire for Lex but the question was:

* How? *

He needed advice, but the other question was:

* Who to ask? *

Clark mentally went down the list of friends he cared about.

First on the list: Pete.

Hmm. Probably not a good idea because Pete couldn’t stand Lex. Never did and probably never will at this rate when he finds out Clark wants Lex in a not so best friend-ly way. Clark hoped Pete would eventually come around and accept Lex the way he accepted Lex so easily the first time they met. He wanted his two different best friends to like each other but it was possible that it was never meant to be.

Now that Clark wanted more than friendship from Lex, Clark realized belatedly Pete was going to have to wait to find out his latest secret. So, Pete was out for the count.

Next. Chloe.

Clark thought very carefully on this one. He loved Chloe as much as he loved Pete, but Chloe could sometimes over analyze things to death. He wasn’t sure how she would react when she discovered her long time best friend wanted to be romantically involved with another boy, er, man.

Chloe was a maybe.

Clark sighed. God, this was hard. He was sixteen. He was in love with his best friend. Why can’t best friends all get along?

He sat up in his Fortress of Solitude and continued to think. But what about tonight? Was he going to the mansion to spy again for a third night in a row? His parents had no clue where he went. They assumed he was hanging with Pete.

And he was lying again.

His super hearing picked up sounds of an expensive car coming up the drive. It was a good thing his father wasn’t home or there’d be hell to pay.

Clark unconsciously straightened his clothes, and ran his fingers through his dark hair. His heart was hammering a thousand mile a minute when he heard the car door slam shut.

His silent list of possibilities would have to wait until Lex left. And Clark desperately hoped it wouldn’t be too soon. He missed Lex, and it had been doubly hard to get Lex alone since * she * arrived.

Footsteps resounded in the barn and Clark waited until he heard his name being called. “Clark? You up here?”

“Yeah, Lex,” Clark said in what he hoped was a normal tone of voice when his insides were quivering. He never felt like this anymore with Lana. It was just Lex. If Lex ever found out he’d been spying on him for the last two days—

Lex’s shining bald head finally came into view and the rest of him. Today, Lex wore casual, which, for him, meant an open collar that Clark tried very hard not to stare at. The usual long sleeved shirt, silk, by the look of it and purple, of course. Since it was winter and even in the afternoons, it was ungodly cold. Lex wore his leather driving gloves and kept them on. His overcoat barely swished over the floorboards.

Lex’s smile hit Clark like a ton of bricks and he couldn’t immediately help smiling back. “Lex, it’s good to see you,” Clark said, stuffing his big hands into his jeans. Next to Lex’s casual demeanor, Clark always felt awkward and well, dorky. Just like he always did when he was around the girl he liked.

Now it was this striking man in front of him.

* Focus, Clark. *

Lex is saying something.

“Any plans tonight?” Lex asked, as he approached.

“No, why?” Clark replied coolly. They hadn’t spent much time together since * she * arrived, and that had been more than a week ago. Clark knew Lex must have some agenda for Victoria to keep her as his girlfriend or, his . . . lover . . . say it, Clark. But whatever that may be, it was a mystery at the moment.

All Clark wanted was to suddenly spend time with Lex. And maybe finally make his move, but not with * her * around the mansion. No way.

Lex shrugged, and made himself comfortable on the dusty couch. “I wanted to invite you over tonight,” Lex said casually. “I know I haven’t been around this past week. I’ve been busy.”

“Yeah, you’ve got a girlfriend now,” Clark said and realized what he said as soon as he said it. Lex’s blue eyes narrowed as he looked up at Clark, and Clark’s hands fisted inside his pockets.

“Victoria is hardly the type to be anyone’s girlfriend,” Lex said with a smirk.

“Then what is she?”

Lex looked at him and their eyes met and held. “Are you jealous, Clark?”

Good going, Kent, Clark berated himself. “Don’t be ridiculous, Lex. Of course not. I just wondered--”

“What?” Lex’s expression was unreadable, as always.

If Lex was hard to read as a best friend, then how was Clark going to break down those impenetrable walls as a potential lover?

Metaphorical giraffe, indeed.

“If she isn’t your girlfriend then what is she, Lex?” Clark tried to make his face as normal as possible, as though it was the most normal question to ask.

“An ends to a mean, Clark. An ends to a mean,” Lex said almost softly.

“What does that mean?” Clark demanded. “You’re not going to hurt her, are you?”

Lex eyes became hooded. “Don’t be ridiculous, Clark,” Lex said, deliberately repeating Clark’s earlier words to him. Clark momentarily flinched but stared at Lex in wonder.

“Lex,” he said softly.

Lex looked up slowly and Clark joined him on the couch. “I just don’t want you to get into trouble again, that’s all,” Clark amended. He could feel Lex’s gaze on him but at that moment he couldn’t meet his eyes.

“If I promise I won’t, will you come over tonight?” Lex asked, finally smiling again. “Victoria won’t be there. She had to return to Metropolis for personal reasons.”

“When will she be back?”

“I don’t know and I don’t care,” Lex shrugged. “I just want you to come over. We’ll watch whatever you want, okay?”

Clark smiled. “You’re lucky it’s the weekend.” So am I.

“That means you’re coming over?”

“It means I’m coming over. What time?”

Lex stood. “Surprise me. Like you always do.” Lex went down the stairs, meeting Chloe on the way out. “Ms. Sullivan.”

“Hi, Lex,” said Chloe, with a raised eyebrow. Chloe joined Clark on the couch, and looked curiously at Clark. “So. What did Lex want?”

“To invite me over to the mansion,” Clark replied vaguely. He wondered if his silent list of probable candidates ended here, with Chloe. Was it because she arrived first, or was it because Clark was tired of waiting for his friends to stop pretending how weird he really was?

Clark wasn’t sure. What he was sure of was that he made his decision.

“Chloe,” he began, just as Chloe said, “Clark,” at the same time. They burst out laughing.

“You first,” she said in between fits of giggles.

“All right,” Clark said, and took a deep breath. Here goes nothing, he thought. “Chloe, I need some advice and I need you to keep an open mind, okay?”

Chloe looked intrigued. “Okay, Clark. Now I’m really interested. Does this have anything to do with Lex?”

Sharply, Clark looked at her. “How did you know?”

She shrugged. “He was just here, Clark. I took a wild guess. What’s this about, anyway?”

Clark took a deep breath.

 * Here goes nothing. Or something. *  “I think I like him.”

“Well, that’s no surprise there, Clark. You’re the only one who admits they like a Luthor,” Chloe said nonchalantly.

Clark groaned silently. Okay, this was harder than he thought it was going to be. Wasn’t Chloe supposed to be one of the smartest, if not cleverest of anyone at school? He was going to have to just come out with it.

He repeated, more slowly, “I think I like him, Chlo. As in like likes.”

Chloe blinked. Her mouth opened but nothing came out. She tried again. “Say again?”

Clark bit his bottom lip hard. And waited.

Chloe swallowed as she finally got it. “Er, Clark, you’re serious?”

He nodded firmly, watching her reaction. Chloe blew out her breath. “Wow,” she muttered. “What about Lana?”

Tensely, Clark said, “I don’t know. If Lana asked me out today, I’d probably refuse. Does that answer your question?”

“So, you like Lex,” she said with a small grin. “That’s hot.”

Clark began to relax. “I’m glad you think so,” he muttered, blushing.

Chloe looked at him closely. “How long have you felt this way?”

Clark thought about it. Now that the question was asked directly, he wasn’t quite sure. But--

Reluctantly, Clark said, “I think it started when Victoria showed up. It just sort of started unconsciously, and then I--”

Chloe leaned forward. “What, Clark?”

“God, I don’t know if I can tell you this, Chloe!”

Chloe stared at Clark in disbelief. “Clark, for God’s sake. You just confessed you like another guy! Would it make you feel better if I promised not to tell anyone, even Pete? I assume he doesn’t have a clue as to how you feel. Lex, I mean.” Slight pause. “And Pete.”

Clark shook his head with a sigh.

“I promise, Clark, no one will know. And I’m flattered that you told me,” Chloe said softly, touching his arm. “I feel special, now that I know at least one of your secrets.”

Clark looked at her, glad she showed up when she did. “I spied on him. For the last two nights I went to the mansion and spied on Lex with her.” Clark took another deep breath, his heart starting to pound again. “It’s making me crazy, Chloe. I want him so much.”

Carefully, Chloe said, “Are you sure you’re just not jealous of Victoria Hardwick?”

“I know I am,” Clark confessed. “She has him but there’s something else.”

Ruefully, Chloe said, “Nothing else can shock me now, Clark.”

Clark almost smiled but his eyes were hard. “When he came, he said my name.”

Chloe stared at him, blinking rapidly. “You saw him--? Never mind,” she said hastily. “I can’t believe I’m about to say this.”

Clark looked at her. “What?”

“I once told Pete I thought Lex had more than brotherly best friend type feelings for you, and I’m not the only one who thinks so,” Chloe said, rather carefully, watching Clark’s face.

“And what did Pete say to that?”

“Pete agreed with me,” Chloe said at once. Clark’s mouth dropped open but immediately he closed it. He realized with relief that his best friends knew before he did that Lex had feelings for him. Feelings of lust, longing and want. For him!

Clark suddenly felt elated. Lighthearted. Like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders.

“Really?”

“Really,” Chloe said firmly. “And Clark.”

“Yeah?”

“Lex may have Ms. Hardwick as a current distraction, but I suspect he’ll change his tune once you let him know how you feel,” Chloe reasoned.

“That’s just it, Chlo,” Clark groaned. “I just don’t know how!”

“I think you do,” Chloe amended. She reached over with her hand and turned Clark’s face so he looked at her. “Clark, Pete and I care about you. You’re our best friend, and if you decide you want Lex Luthor, we want you to be happy. You don’t need our approval; you already have it.”

“Thanks, Chloe,” Clark whispered and hugged her fiercely. “I’m glad I told you. I just have one more question.”

Chloe pulled away breathlessly. “Yeah?”

“Lex isn’t going to make the first move, will he?”

Chloe shook her head, her blond tresses falling over her face. “Of course not, Clark, especially since he has no idea you feel the same way about him. He may feel something from you, Clark, like he suspects there’s attraction between the two of you, but he’s never going to act on it. For one thing, you’re sixteen years old, and he’s twenty-one. Anything he does will be illegal, unless you give your consent. I think you know this, Clark. Plus, despite the age gap, Lex will never cross that boundary of friendship you and he possess.” Clark was listening intently. Chloe paused for breath, almost as if talking into a tape recorder.

“One thing I know for sure, Clark,” Chloe said, more softly. “Lex does care about you. You’re going to have to do all the work, at least at first. Then once Lex realizes what’s happening, he’ll take over.” Chloe leaned over and kissed Clark’s cheek.

“I’m so glad you’re my best friend,” Clark told her, holding her hand tightly. “That’s exactly what I needed to hear. I was so afraid to act, I didn’t know what I wanted.”

“So now you do,” Chloe said fondly. Then she grinned. “Boy, I’d give anything to see you kiss Lex.”

Clark narrowed his eyes. “Why?”

“Come on, Clark! You two are the most gorgeous guys I know. And besides, it’s beautiful to see two men make out,” Chloe grinned at Clark’s expression. “Not that I’ve had an opportunity--!”

Clark tackled her, and she squealed with laughter as Clark tickled her relentlessly.

Clark had his work cut out for him. How was he going to accomplish this? He never thought he’d have to do something so scary as to let someone know how he felt, Lana Lang notwithstanding.

He realized everything Chloe said was true. Everything. Hearing it said out loud just confirmed it. Clark had always wondered about the looks Lex sometimes gave him when Lex thought Clark didn’t notice. Trouble was, Clark did notice. Even when he thought he wanted Lana. Sometimes when he used to daydream about Lana, he thought about those looks. It always threw him for a loop, that a man like Lex Luthor wanted him.

Clark also wondered how Lex saw him. Did Lex think he was good looking? Clark certainly thought Lex was beautiful, even without hair. His heart hammered when he thought about how it was going to be.

Because this was it; if Lex was going to reject his advances, Clark wasn’t sure he was going to be able to accept the consequences. Except maybe run to Lana but that was hardly likely.

However, first things first. He needed to ask his parents’ permission to spend the night at Lex’s.

Taking a deep breath, Clark entered the kitchen. Martha was preparing dinner - fried chicken from the looks of it. “Hi, Mom.”

“Hi, sweetheart,” Martha said warmly. “Where were you?”

“Up at the loft,” Clark said casually, getting a glass of water.

“I thought I saw Lex’s car earlier,” Martha said, placing the raw chicken in flour.

“You did,” Clark said, hoping his voice didn’t sound nervous. “Uh, Mom, is it all right if I spend the night at Lex’s tonight? He invited me over for dinner and movies.”

“Oh,” Martha almost frowned. Some of the flour was on her face and Clark brushed it off for her with a smile. “Thanks. Well, as long as you finish your chores when you get back tomorrow, I don’t see why not. I’ll let your father know where you are when he gets back.”

“Thanks, Mom!” Clark kissed her cheek. “You’re the best!”

Clark super speeded up to his room to pack an overnight bag before she could respond. * Oh, I’d better be, * Martha thought silently, with a grin, as she continued to prep the chicken for dinner.

Well, here he was again.

Spying.

On Lex, who was now alone with a bottle of scotch. Waiting for him to knock on the door.

Clark stared intently at the form of Lex through his windows. The young heir was downstairs, looking delicious in another long-sleeved shirt, this time black silk. Black slacks completed the outfit, making Lex seem somehow older, otherworldly.

It was silly to think “otherworldly” especially when Clark himself was just that. Clark knew that besides wanting Lex as a boyfriend, he would keep no secrets from him. That was his choice and his choice alone.

Clark was almost startled when he felt snowflakes touch his hair and face. He glanced up and saw that he was right about the weather. It was going to be a beautiful morning, to say the least. Snow in Kansas was always a breathtaking sight to behold.

He knew he was going to remember tonight for the rest of his life, if things went his way.

Taking a deep breath, Clark pushed away from the oak tree he almost took down with his strength last night and made his way to the front door. His overnight bag was slung over his shoulder.

Enrique opened the door before Clark reached the first step.

“Mr. Kent, good evening,” the manservant said, simply. Clark stared at him, always a little creeped out by Enrique’s perfect timing. Or maybe Enrique just happened to see him approach, that’s all. He was only human, Clark thought dryly. * Unlike me. *“Mr. Luthor is in his office. If you’ll follow me.”

“Thanks, Enrique. I know the way.”

Enrique gave a nod of his head. “As you wish. Dinner will be ready in half an hour.”

“Great. I can’t wait,” Clark told him with a grin.

Enrique almost smiled but just in time he didn’t. Clark was almost disappointed. It would have been nice to see a smile on that man’s face.

Like it would be nice to see a smile on Lex’s face, maybe even tonight. Clark smiled again to himself as he made his way toward his friend’s office, and stopped when he heard Lex’s voice.

“Hey,” Lex said, obviously speaking into the phone. “How are things in Metropolis?”

Clark’s lips thinned. It was * her *. He was * not * jealous of a phone call! At the moment, Victoria Hardwick had Lex Luthor wrapped around her pretty little finger and it was all Clark could do to not react at Lex’s slow chuckle.

“Good. No, Clark’s going to join me for dinner and a movie,” Lex sounded delectable, and Clark wanted to eat him up.

Clark took a deep breath, knocked softly, and tried to look casual. Lex smiled at him, the slim cell phone against his ear. Clark’s heart flipped over. Lex rarely smiled, but Clark was going to make sure Lex made a habit of smiling as Clark’s boyfriend. Clark smiled back, sat down on the couch and set his bag down beside it.

“Okay, I’ll see you soon,” Lex said softly into the cell. “Right. Good night.”

Lex hung up the cell and turned his full attention to Clark, leaning back against his desk. The cell was carelessly tossed onto the desk with a clatter. “So. Clark.” Lex nodded to the bag. “Your parents are actually going to let you spend the night?”

Clark placed his elbows on his thighs and leaned forward. Smiled again. “Of course. Though Mom was the one who let me go,” Clark waited a beat and said, “She said she’ll let Dad know when he got home.”

Lex pushed away from his desk smoothly and from behind Lex, Clark could see the snow falling more steadily by the minute. Laughed softly as Lex looked down at him and Clark looked up. This felt weird, as if they were on the beginnings of some precipice and Lex was about to hold out his hand and ask Clark for a dance.

Clark was nervous as hell.

“Come on, Clark,” Lex said, keeping his hands in his pockets. “Let’s eat. I’m starving.”

Relieved, Clark stood and followed his friend out of the office.

TWO HOURS LATER

After demolishing a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meat sauce that was the best Clark ever tasted, besides his mother’s, of course, Clark and Lex took their dessert plates and coffee to the entertainment room.

“So, how’s Victoria?” Clark asked lightly, not sure what to talk about. After all, this was Lex Luthor. He had everything, didn’t he? Well, except Clark.

Lex shook his head at him. “Clark, I’m not going to talk to you about Victoria. Let’s watch a movie instead.”

Clark licked the fork clean and placed it on the empty plate. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Lex stare at his mouth, and inwardly he groaned. * Lex, you’re an idiot if you can’t see how much I want you, too, * Clark thought wildly. This was driving him to distraction, being here with Lex, not able to make his move yet, not sure when to make his move, and wanting to make that move * now. *

Where the hell did that metaphorical giraffe go? Was it still in his bedroom, or did it somehow arrive here?

Clark settled back on the couch and Lex waved a DVD at him.

“I got “Shrek II,” Lex told him, popping the movie in the DVD player. “Advanced copy, of course.”

Clark grinned at him. “I love that you’re my best friend. I get perks.”

“And why not?” Lex sat down beside him; not too close, but not too far away, either. Clark instantly felt warm. “All my best friends get perks. But you’re the only one.”

“Only one what, Lex?”

Lex wouldn’t look at him as the movie started. “Only best friend I have.”

Clark wanted to hug him but didn’t dare. “Thanks, Lex.”

Clark, of course, had Chloe and Pete as his best friends, and was lucky to have them. But Lex only had Clark. Clark suspected Lex didn’t mean * her, * either.

Lex turned to watch the movie and Clark did the same. Silence descended between them.

Before the movie ended, Clark was going to do it.

Jump the moon, that is.

And no metaphorical giraffe was going to stop him.

“Shrek II” was as funny as the original. When the Donkey was on its way to do something to drive Shrek insane again, Lex chuckled softly. Clark glanced over at him, swallowing hard.

This was it. * Do it, Clark, before you lose- - *

Clark moved closer to Lex on the couch, so that their bodies were touching. Clark heard Lex catch his breath but didn’t say a word.

Clark didn’t bother looking at the screen. His eyes were intent on the gentle curve of Lex’s left ear and moved forward. He wasn’t thinking. Before he knew what he was doing, Clark pressed his lips on the tip of that left ear, and Lex froze.

Gently, Clark traced the ear with the tip of his tongue and Lex didn’t stop him. Clark wasn’t sure if Lex was even breathing, but he was.

Breathing hard. Harshly, in the dark.

Clark finished his exploration of Lex’s ear and very carefully, blocked Lex’s view of the screen. It wasn’t necessary because Lex’s eyes were closed. When he opened them, Clark had swung his legs over Lex’s and whispered, “Lex, look at me.”

It was a request.

Slowly, Lex opened his blue eyes and stared in wonder at Clark. With a rough voice, Lex whispered, “I’m looking.”

Clark was as close to Lex as he’d ever been. Clark did the one thing he could think of: he leaned forward again and kissed Lex on the mouth hard, because there would be time later for gentleness.

Now, though, this was about want.

And he was going to get it.

Clark moved off Lex to stand in front of him, his heart pounding, and waited for Lex’s reaction. Ironically, this was the exact opposite of their positions right before dinner.

Lex slowly raked his eyes up and down Clark’s body, and for a few awful seconds Clark wasn’t sure if he was going to throw up from fear of rejection or bolt.

Lex’s answer was sudden and to the point: he tackled Clark to the ground so fast, Clark had no conception of how he suddenly ended up on his back. Lex’s eyes were unreadable as he bit Clark’s jaw first, before attacking Clark in the most awesome kiss of Clark’s life.

Lex ruthlessly plunged his tongue inside Clark’s mouth, devouring him with a finesse that Clark craved.

Clark groaned and wrapped his arms around Lex, loving the feel of black silk on his hands as Lex continued to kiss him. Panting, Lex leaned back to look into Clark’s eyes.

“Clark, just so you know, if we do this, if we fuck--”

Clark winced at the word but looked directly into Lex’s heated gaze.

“There’s no going back. I mean it. We do this, but I don’t. Share. Not when it’s you,” Lex said possessively, and with his tongue, licked Clark’s right cheek like a cat. Clark shuddered, and closed his eyes.

“I don’t either, Lex. What about * her *?”

Lex bit Clark’s lower lip with a growl, almost like an animal. “Her who?”

Clark almost smiled.

He did it.

He almost believed the metaphorical giraffe was smiling at them.

Clark closed his eyes again as Lex began to kiss him everywhere. “Clark, do you know how long I’ve wanted you?”

“I’m beginning to get an idea,” Clark panted, as Lex sat on his chest.

Lex eyes were almost cold as they looked at Clark. “I know.”

Clark was instantly chilled by the look in his best friend’s eyes. He swallowed. “Know what?” Oh, crap. His voice came out as a squeak because he was so scared.

“I saw you.”

Clark froze. “Saw me? Do what?”

“Watching me. For the last two nights, outside in the cold,” Lex said, and Clark stared at him. He didn’t know what to say.

Lex pushed off of him, still expressionless. He straightened his black silk shirt and went to turn off the television. Confused, Clark slowly sat up, wondering what Lex’s next move was going to be.

Apparently, it wasn’t what Clark expected. “You only think you want me because you saw me say your name,” Lex said, still coldly. Clark stood shakily. “When I came.”

Clark blushed hotly but looked Lex directly in his eyes. “You’re wrong, Lex.” Desperately, Clark didn’t want the night to end with neither of them getting what the either wanted. And that was sex. “I mean, you’re right about last night, but you’re wrong about how I feel about you.”

If everything was going to come out before that happened, than so be it. Clark took a deep breath but Lex had turned his back on him.

“I think you should go home, Clark,” Lex said and proceeded to actually walk out of the room. Clark’s mouth opened in astonishment.* What just happened? *Certainly not sex, especially since Lex just confessed he saw Clark be a voyeur.

* And I thought I was careful. *

Clark took a deep breath. Using super speed he raced after Lex. Clark wasn’t sure which way Lex went. He could have gone anywhere. Flicking on his X-ray vision, Clark tensely scanned the mansion. He found three other people, one of them presumably Enrique in his bedroom, and Lex’s small staff. Lex himself was nowhere to be found.

Clark frowned. Now what?

He next super speeded upstairs, checking every room. Nothing.

Clark found the swimming area, empty.

Where could Lex have gone so fast?

The garage?

It was worth a shot.

The lights were off so Clark turned them on. The garage flooded with light, but Lex didn’t move. Clark found Lex sitting in one of his Porsches, in the driver’s seat. The Porsche was sitting in the middle of a sea of other outrageously expensive cars but Lex chose to sit in this one. Clark walked toward the Porsche.

Quietly Clark opened the door to the passenger’s side and sat down. Closed the door. It sounded loud in the huge garage. Lex didn’t look at him, just caressed the steering wheel.

“Lex.”

Lex didn’t respond. Clark placed his hand on Lex’s and Lex stilled. “I do want you. Though I only wanted you since *she * came to Smallville.” Clark paused. “I got jealous because you always gave me your complete attention and when she came and took away that attention, I realized I wanted you.”

Lex froze, and slowly turned to look at Clark. Clark smiled at him and reached out to touch his face, caressing, like what Lex was doing to the steering wheel.

Clark continued softly, still touching Lex’s face gently. “I didn’t open my eyes till last night. When I saw you coming, and you said my name. I want you so much, Lex.”

Lex swallowed. “Really, Clark? Because I wanted you from the moment I saw you, the day you saved me. I think you’re so beautiful. More than * her.*”

Clark stopped Lex from talking anymore by simply kissing him. They sat there in the Porsche, kissing hungrily. Clark pressed his forehead against Lex’s, breathing hard. “You’re a fantastic kisser, though we both know you’re the only one I’ve kissed so far.”

Lex laughed softly. “Thanks, I think.” Lex abruptly took Clark’s hair in a fist, pulling Clark’s head back in a pull that should have hurt. It didn’t but the move was a possessive one. “I don’t ever want to see you kissing anyone else, and if you do, don’t tell me about it.”

Clark shut his eyes. He just nodded thickly, swallowing.

Lex ran his fingers through Clark’s thick black hair, this time tenderly, appropriately messing it up further. Lex pulled Clark closer and kissed him again. Stopped, and proceeded to bite Clark hard on his chin but came away unblemished. Clark’s eyes widened and bit Lex back, marking him immediately.

Lex growled, and the sound made Clark’s cock tighten almost at once. Clark took Lex’s hand and placed it on his crotch and Lex groaned. “God, you’re big, Clark. I can’t wait to see it, see you naked.”

Lex sprawled on top of him, Clark’s back against the door handle, panting harshly. Lex stuffed his hand directly into Clark’s pants, making Clark arch stiffly. * Oh, God,* he thought incoherently. Lex had somehow managed to get his hand on his hard cock in one smooth move, even past his boxers.

Watching Clark’s face carefully Lex began jacking him off. Lex leaned forward, and licked a long swipe up Clark’s sweaty neck. His tongue matched his hand’s movements and Clark didn’t think anymore.

“Oh, God, Lex, I can’t--”

“Just go with it, baby,” Lex whispered. “God, I could watch you forever.”

Gently as possible, Clark cradled Lex’s bald head, and kissed him open mouthed, his tongue trying to dominate Lex’s. He didn’t succeed, of course. Their kissing became too much for Clark and Lex’s hand on his cock was becoming much faster, and Clark’s orgasm came over him in a crashing wave. Clark collapsed and he felt his come soil his boxers, his pants and Lex’s hand.

“Lex, that was amazing,” Clark said, blushing.

“It’ll be even more amazing when I see you naked on my bed,” Lex said, nothing but desire written on his perfect face.

Lex removed his hand and casually licked his palm and fingers with his tongue, tasting Clark. Panting softly, groaning, Clark watched with heated eyes. Lex continued to clean off his hand and Clark couldn’t stand it anymore.

Clark grabbed Lex’s hand and helped his new lover lick the rest off. Tasting himself didn’t seem so bad, Clark thought, meeting Lex’s eyes. They kissed again, teeth gently scraping against each other, less urgent.

Lex pulled back and licked his lips. Lex got up and got out of the Porsche. Shakily, Clark tried to breath, as Lex opened his door. Lex held out his hand.

“Let’s go upstairs, Clark,” Lex said softly.

Clark stood, and instead of holding Lex’s hand, wrapped his long arm around Lex’s slim waist. Lex smiled, and put his arm around Clark’s until they were hip to hip.

Clark shut the door and together, they left the garage.

Long into the night, in Lex’s bedroom and in his bed, naked, Lex was on his back. The room where Clark’s name was spilled from Lex’s lips at the window, and now instead of her, Clark was making love with Lex.

In his bed, which was now theirs.

The giraffe wasn’t metaphorical anymore. It was real, and it occupied Lex’s room as if it had always been there.

It belonged. Clark belonged.

Clark took Lex’s hard cock into his mouth as if he knew what he was doing. He didn’t, of course. Clark engulfed Lex, and Lex’s fingers clenched the bed sheets, moaning. Clark almost gagged but didn’t care. He pulled back, not all the way, and licked up and down the throbbing shaft, relishing finally tasting his best friend. Clark gently fondled the balls, and no, Lex had absolutely no hair anywhere, even there, and he was still gorgeous.

This time, when Lex climaxed hard into Clark’s mouth, Lex screamed his name out loud. “Clark, oh, God--!” Clark swallowed every bit of come eagerly, gently licking Lex’s softened cock clean.

Lex didn’t have to hold anything back anymore, and Clark smiled in the dark. Lex shattered to the four winds. This was the first time ever Clark had seen Lex lose control and it felt great. Clark wanted Lex to do that more often too, besides smile.

Oh, look.

Is that a smile?

Why, yes, it is.

“What?” Lex asked, smiling.

“Nothing,” Clark said, and smiled back.

Lex buried his face in Clark’s neck, effectively hiding that beautiful smile.

Stroking Lex’s back, Clark whispered, “He jumped.”

“Huh?”

“Just thinking out loud,” Clark whispered. “Go to sleep, Lex.”

Curled in each other’s arms, they fell asleep.
