The Nights Temptress
I can’t believe I let Clark drag me to this amusement park, It was almost
laughable. I didn’t even know there was an amusement park just an hour out side
of Smallville not even close to metropolis. Clark was just a head of me,
staring at all the rides and games his silver-blue eyes wide with wonder. His
flannel jacket was tight against his shoulders and arms, a startling ocean-blue
compared to the black of his t-shirt and the navy blue jeans. He pointed to the
roller-coaster dubbed ‘World Shaker’ it was large, furious, and had many
loops-de-loops. I watched as one of the groups of cars tore through a loop just
to stop at the end. The line was pretty short considering, a lot of people like
roller-coasters.
“You want to go for a ride?” I asked him as I came up beside him, his eyes were
tracing the track, imagining how it would feel to ride it.
“It looks like fun,” He nods as he glances to me a strand of his midnight black
hair fell into his eyes, “Would you mined?” his voice sounded tentative.
“Not at all, considering how I drive this seems easy” I smirked at Clark as he
smiles at me, amusement shone in his innocent eyes. We walk to the back of the
relatively short line. It didn’t even take us 15 minutes to be in the next car.
Clark looked nervous as we waited.
“Something wrong Clark?” I say softly into his ear, I saw him stiffen, slightly.
“I have never been on a coaster before, what=s it like Lex?” His voice was stiff
with something akin to embarrassment. I just smile, what an innocent.
I’ll let you decide for your self Clark considering were next!” My voice was low
as the man running the coaster lets us on. We were in the first car, Clarks
eyes were large with wonder. We waited as only two other cars were filled,
before the ride started. Clark was griping the bar, tightly, his eyes glancing
around nervously. Laughing I wait impatiently as the coaster starts up the ramp
before speeding down. Clark yelps at the speed that we drop from, making me
laugh more as we go into a tight circle and then into one of the many loops.

We got off the coaster, Lex chuckling his delight, he was right the coaster was
exactly like his driving and him: fast, furious, deadly, tempting, sleek, and
sex. I look around the carnival for something that wont remind me of the man
beside me, damn. Ah! Found it, pointing to the swings I glance to Lex. His
dark navy eyes sparkling with mirth as he nods and starts to walk towards the
ride. God did he have to wear such tight slacks? Walking slightly behind him, I
spot a ride I had missed ‘The Love Tunnel’ smirking slightly I poke Lex on the
shoulder. He stops and turns around to look at me an eyebrow raised slightly.
“What is it Clark?” His voice is confused yet his face shows his curiosity.
“Lex why don’t we go on the ‘Love tunnel’ next?” I ask him smiling sheepishly
to show him it was only a joke. He blinked twice before a slight smirk flashed
not only in his eyes but on his mouth also. He glances at the two rides I have
picked out and he looks back to me.
“Okay but first lets go on the swings First Farmboy” He says as we continue to
walk to the ride. Much Like the other ride it didn’t take long for us to get on.
As much as I liked the swings I would much prefer either the Coaster or the
Tunnel, because on the coaster I get to here Lex laugh truly, and I’m hoping
that in the Tunnel I might get the nerve to kiss Lex. Lex didn’t seem to like
the swings much for he just seemed to watch everything as closely as he would
when we were walking. Sighing I had hoped that he would have loosened up a bit
obviously not.
Getting off of the ride I stop Lex half way to the ‘Tunnel‘, He turns to face me
once again he raises his eyebrow in question to me stopping him for the second
time.
“What is it now Farmboy?” He asks as he looks around us but not at me.
“Why aren’t you relaxing Lex? You act as if there will be a problem or somebody
will ‘crash the party.’ ” I say as I tilt my head slightly.
“Well Clar rk ,” he says, sounding for the world like he just purred my name.
“It’s just that when ever we get together something disaster us happens so I
thought today would be none the different.” He says as once again he glances
around, his hands in his slacks pockets. Sighting I go behind him and give him a
shove to wards the tunnel,
“Well if you feel that way you can get on first. Le ex” I copy the way he says
my name an almost purr.

Startled as Clark not only pushes me but because of the way he says my name,
I stumble over my one feet, Turning on Clark I give him a shove back as we joke
as we head to the tunnel. The Man operating the ride stared at us with wide
eyes. Opening my wallet I give him 200 dollars to keep quiet about mine and
Clarks joke. Laughing we hope into the plastic swan, and we float into the dark
tunnel. I put my arm around his shoulders as we are engulfed by the shadows. I
felt Clark lean closer to me, with a sigh.
“What’s wrong Clark?” I ask as I turn to face him, His face was shadowed by the
torches hanging on the walls.
“Nothing Lex I was Just thinking” He says as he looks away.
“About Lana?” I ask him, hoping it wasn’t that goody-goody princess.
“No not Lana, somebody” He says as he looks at me then at his feet. “well, I
have a crush on him..” He states quietly.
“him?” I look at him startled
“Yes him, he’s suave, cunning, dominate, sexy, smart, handsome, manipulating,
god he’s everything, but he’s straight..” He sighs again.
“Where does he live maybe I could help.” I say hiding my jealousy and my
disappointment that it wasn’t me.
“Well he lives here,” He starts “His dad doesn’t like him, Lana likes him, Chloe
is enthralled by him.@ he finishes with a slight shrug.
“Whitney?” I guess As my eyes narrow, my hate for the young football-player
increases.
“Nope, not in the slightest bit do I like him other than a friend” He states
with a smile and a shake of his head.
“ Your not going to tell me?” I ask him as I watch the torches flicker.
“Listen to the song Lex” he says with a smile.

“What’s this about Clark?” I ask him as I look at his face. He startles me by
straddling my waist, and looks me in the eyes.
“Did I ever mention that the Guy I like lives in a big old drafty castle, he
drives fast cars, became friends with a lousy teenager, and that he’s straight?”
He asks me as he tilts his head.

Startled I look at him, before running my hands from the back of his thighs to
the nape of his neck dragging his face just a few inches in front of mine.
“No you didn’t tell me that he lived in a castle nor about the fast cars, or the
friendship with the young teen but you did tell me about the straight part,” I
start as I watch his eyes go wide with nervousness and fear, “But sadly Clark
you only got 3 out of 4 right for you see, I’m not straight at all.” With that I
pull his lips down onto mine in a hard yet chaste kiss. My hands unclasp, only
to stroke his scalp in a massage. I lick at his lips slowly, his mouth opens for
me like a flower to the sun. I explore his mouth, till he moans softly. Pulling
back I spot the end of the tunnel, moving Clark so that he was beside me, we
come to the end of our ride. When we get out of the amusement park, I drag
Clark to my Porsche and give him another soft kiss before I tell him to get in.
“Lex?” He asks me as I start the foreign car.
“What Clark?” I look at him out of the corner of my eye noticing that there was
a soft smile on his face.
“Can I stay at your place to night?” He looks at his feet again a slight blush
on his cheeks.
“Sure Clar rk” I purr to him as I drive down the road.
“Oh and Lex did I tell you that I love you?” He asks as he turns to look at me.
“No Clark you didn’t but thanks,” I say as I give his hand a squeeze “And I
love you to.”
