"I've never ridden a horse in my life, Lex."

"Clark, you live on a farm.  Lana Lang, equestrian extraordinaire, is your neighbor.  I find it very hard to believe that you've never ridden a horse before."

"I guess I've just always liked to use my own two feet more."

"Well, then I'm sorry to say that you're seriously missing out.  Just imagine what it would be like, finding a rhythm, hitting your stride, being one with another being.  Think about how good it would feel."

"Uh-huh, sounds um, great I guess."

"You know, I wish that I could be metaphorical with you just once. Come on, Clark.  Think about it for a second."

"I'm sorry.  I just don't find horses very sexy.  I mean…Hang on. You didn't mean an actual horse, did you, Lex."

"No."

"You meant something else."

"Yes."

"Oh."

"Good job, Clark."

"Oh."

"I second that."

"Lex, you are talking about sex aren't you?"

"And my father claims you're a simple country bumpkin. Yes, I am."

"Yeah I've thought about it. But it's not like I'm getting any. Lana won't touch me and Chloe, she's so mad at me, she'd probably cut off my- you know with a butcher knife."

"How obvious do I need to be here?"

"About what?"

"About this, Clark. I want you. So what will get the point across? Another game of pool? Another truck? Or do you need me to tie you up and strip you bare? Do you need me to kiss you? Do you need me to cop a feel? What will get your attention? I want to be in you. I want you to be in me. I want us to fuck each other, have sex, bang the gong, spank the monkey, shag, make love. Period. End of mystery. We clear now?"

"…"

"Christ. My fucking mouth ran away with me, didn't it? Goddamn it."

"…"

"Clark, wait. Don't go."

"No. I have homework. And chores. I have to go home. Now."

"Wait, Clark. I'm sorry. You're so damn beautiful and giving that you frustrate the hell out of me. I shouldn't have snapped at you. It's just that I feel like I've been obvious for years."

"No, not really."

"Clark, I'm sorry if I scared you."

"I'm not scared."

"Don't lie to me Clark. You're terrified. You were never that good at hiding what you were feeling."

"Yeah, I guess not."

"I didn't mean for it come out so crude. I was going for blunt and went a bit too far."

"No. I...I like that you're honest with me. I just...I'm surprised is all."

"Oh? What's so surprising? You're a very attractive young man. Why shouldn't I want you?"

"Yeah but you're....Lex, you're a...a...."

"A what?"

"A guy. You're a guy and I'm a guy. And...we're guys."

"And?"

"And it doesn't work that way. You and I...I'm not that way, Lex."

"How do you know?"

"What do you mean, how do I know? I know!"

"How? Have you tried it before? That's like saying you don't like coleslaw when you've never eaten it. It's an uninformed opinion."

"Coleslaw?   Have you ever even had coleslaw before, Lex? It doesn't seem classy enough for you. I mean it looks like…well like puke."

"Clark, I think you missed the point of the analogy."

"And besides that, I DON'T like coleslaw, Lex."

"Forget the coleslaw, Clark. It's not important."

"But you just said..."

"Clark! Focus."

"Ok, sorry it's just...this is...god, Lex. I'm not gay."

"Clark, things aren't always as black and white as you want them to be. And sexuality isn't limited to gay and straight. It's how you feel about the individual person physically and sexually."

"Lex, I can't do this. I can't... god what would my dad say? What would everyone say? What if.... what if I am gay?"

"Discovering things like this about yourself, if they're there at all, is hard. And it's scary. I know it is. Believe me. And it's a very difficult thing to admit to yourself."

"We shouldn't be doing this. You shouldn't be doing this, and god I really shouldn't be letting you do this."

"Shut up and let me hold you, Clark. I won't bite."

"Lex, my dad won't forgive me if I let this happen."

"What's more important is if *you* want it to happen. Because despite my outburst earlier, it's up to you Clark. You can leave right now and forget any of this happened, or we can stay here and talk, or we can go to my room and do something more interesting. And by more interesting I mean sex, in case you're too shaken up to get that."

"I'm not that shaken up, Lex."

"You sure? A sexual identity crisis will put anyone off balance."

"Lex I...I don't know what to do."

"Well, then let's do a little test, all right?  Just hold still."

"Lex, what are you-mmmrph!"

"Shhhh. See, no big deal. Just a kiss, just like kissing anyone, any girl. It works the same way."

"Wow."

"Thank you."

"Wow."

"Clark, are you ok?"

"Wow."

"Clark?"

"Is sex anything like that?"

"With us it will be better than that. I promise."

"..."

"Clark, you have to talk to me, I don't know what you're thinking if you don't tell me."

"Forget my dad. I want the something interesting.

"Are you sure, Clark? We're not going to do this if it's not what you want."

"Lex, I'm sure. I'm really sure, just kiss me again."

"You forgot to say plea-"

"Lex?"

"Hm?"

"Please?"
