Truth

Today was his birthday. Today, Clark Kent was 18. Today, all his dreams could come true. His waiting was finally over.

Later this evening, Clark had a date. Now, he wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a date, but he would do his best to make it one. For as long as he could remember, Lex Luthor had been his dream. Since he turned 15, they had been flirting with each other. Last week, Lex had invited him over for dinner and a movie. He said that it was just to celebrate Clark's birthday, but Clark knew better. Tonight, they would end the dance they had been doing for the last three years.

Clark was supposed to meet Lex at his house at seven...it was now five. "What will I do with myself for the next two hours?" he thought.

So, Clark decided to jump in the shower, change his clothes, and do all the things that he would normally do to get ready for a date.

At 6:50, Clark left the house. He figured it would give him plenty of time to run over to Lex's. As he stopped in front of the Luthor Manor, Clark knew that before anything could happen tonight, Lex would have to know the truth.

"I just don't know how to tell him," thought Clark.

Just then, the door opened.

"Lex, I didn't even ring the doorbell yet," said Clark.

"I know. I gave the staff the night off, so I was waiting around the door until I saw you," Lex replied. "Happy Birthday, Clark."

Lex turned around then and led Clark into the dining room. On the table was more food then Clark had ever seen. "What's with all the food?" he asked.

"Well, I realized that I forgot to ask you what you wanted to eat. And since it's your birthday, I wanted to make sure it was something that you would like, so I had cook make a ton of different things."

"That's awfully nice of you, Lex," Clark said.

"Well, I try. So, what I'm thinking is that we can grab some food, go sit out on the couch, watch a movie and chat," Lex replied.

"Sounds good."

So, as they got their food, Clark was trying to figure out the best way to tell Lex about his secret. By the time they sat on the couch, Clark knew he would just have to come right out and tell Lex.

"Lex, I have something that I need to tell you. ImreallyanalienfromouterspaceandImalsoinlovewithyou," Clark said in one breath.

"What?"

"I'm really an alien from outer space, and I am also in love with you," Clark said again, this time a little slower.

"Clark, I'm so glad that you finally told me the truth. The thing is, I already knew that you were an alien. All those years ago when we first met, I knew you weren't like other people, so I did my research," Lex replied. He wasn't quite sure how to respond to the second part of the statement so he was waiting a minute.

"Why didn't you say something before now?" Clark wanted to know.

"I knew that you weren't going to hurt me or anyone else and I didn't want to ruin our friendship. But, in reply to your second statement..."

Just then, Lex leaned over and kissed Clark. It was everything that Clark had known it would be. Sweet, sensitive and seductive.

"I hope that means what I think it means," Clark said when they seperated.

"Yeah, it does," Lex said with a smile.

For the next several minutes they couldn't seem to stop kissing each other. They were reveling in the fact that they could now be open with each other and the world about how they felt.

Suddenly, Clark felt Lex's hands on his shirt. He was trying to get the shirt off without breaking the kiss. Clark realized that the only way to do that would be for him to rip it off. And he could just imagine what would happen when he went home in a ripped shirt.

So, Clark broke the kiss. Before Lex could respond, Clark whipped his shirt over his head and pulled off his pants. As he stood in front of Lex in just his boxers, he realized that he needed to let Lex know that this was what he wanted.

"Lex, for the last three years, I have been dreaming of this moment. Can we please finish what we started?"

Lex just sat there for a moment. He knew that the only way to react would be to let Clark know that this was what he wanted to.

"Clark, since the first time I saw you, I wanted you. With your soft skin and expressive eyes, you took my breath away. Everytime I saw you, I would have to fight from attacking you and showing you just what you did to me. I definitely think that we can finish this," Lex said as he turned towards the hall. "But, lets go to my room. Be prepared for a long night Clark. Now that I have you, I'm going to take full advantage of it."

I think I can manage that," said Clark as they went to Lex's room. "Besides which, I think the galaxy owes me one. "
